Wire rope is indispensable in the fabrication of standing rigging and kayak rudder systems.
Many of our kayaks use FeatherCraft Rudder Systems, which use 1/16" wire rope for the control cables. The shrouds of the Passagemaker Dinghy and the Northeaster Dory are made from 3/32" wire rope.
To create loops for wire rope connections, use Nico Sleeves and thimbles.
The FeatherCraft Rudder Replacement Cable have a 1/16"-diameter and are 30' long.
The CLC Sailing Rig Wooden Rudder Cable have a 1/16"-diameter and are 30' long.
The shrouds for the Passagemaker Dinghy have a 3/32" diameter and are 22' long.
